Phil Shaw's wonderful works can now be found at Lutyens & Rubinstein Book Shop, 21 Kensington Park Road, London.
Lutyens & Rubinstein is the perfect book shop. Run by literary agents Sarah Lutyens and Felicity Rubinstein, the shop opened two weeks ago in Notting Hill and contains a cleverly edited but expansive range of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, graphic novels, children’s classics and coffee-table tomes. The shop was designed with the curious in mind – tea and coffee served in bespoke china encourages idling, as does the discovery of tiny figurines hidden in the shelves. We loved the exclusive range of eau de toilettes by NY company CB Perfume. In The Library smelt exactly of its description – “leather bindings, worn cloth and a hint of wood polish”. 21 Kensington Park Road, W11 (020 7229 1010)
