Charlotte was commissioned by The Guardian to do a portrait of Prince Charles - so she decided that plenty of people were interested in the psychology of a man who must wait until old age, wait till his mother died before he could fulfill his destiny. But what of all those poor coronation mugs also waiting all this time to take their rightful place on the shelves and mantelpieces of the nation. So she decided to create a limited edition royal coronation mug in waiting (complete with mugshot of a King Charles spaniel) and these are available from the Rebecca Hossack Gallery in Charlotte Street. But hurry - they have been very popular and there are are only a few left.
