| Margaret Neve studied at Wolverhampton School of Art and later at Birmingham College of Art. She won a scholarship to study in Florence and then returned to study at the Royal Academy Schools where she received a Leverhulme Scholarship. | |

| She has exhibited in numerous venues including the Royal Academy, Leicester Galleries, Redfern Gallery, John Moores Exhibition Liverpool, New Arts Centre and the Hamilton Galleries. She has had three solo exhibitions at Montpelier Studio, the last in 1994. | |

| Her work is in the collection of the Birmingham City Art Gallery and in the collections of five local authorities as well as private collections in the UK and USA. | |
