Charlotte Cory is a writer and photographic artist par excellence. She has had 3 novels published by Faber and Faber, 2 books of woodcuts, umpteen plays and drama series produced on BBC Radios 3 and 4. Watch out for her 4 part comedy airing this summer on BBC Radio 4: "Thinking of leaving your husband?" She got her first camera at the age of 6 (a black plastic Kodak Box Brownie) when she obsessively photographed sheep. Today she writes and photographs regularly for the travel sections of national newspapers and magazines and is to be found careering all over the world with her bicycle and camera delving obsessively into all things curious and Victorian. Her book The Visitors published by Dewi Lewis Publishing and launched at the Rebecca Hossack Gallery in September 2007 has become an international best seller.
